There are different genres of writing in the Bible that can be taken differently
-like poetry can be flowery, and may be taken literally.
-think of the intention of why the piece was written.
-sometimes the piece isnt literal.
The Bible may be a scientific manual. It has a beginning an end, so does science
-big bang to crunch
We extrapolate from the bible
-extrapolate: to infer (an unknown) from something that is known; conjecture.
The study state theorem is old, but a starting point.
Science enhances the bible.
and thats the way it should be :]
Ephesians 6:18-20 Prayer
-32% of atheists dont pray, which means the rest do some sort of thing.
-sometimes we literally pray "be with them..."
-we must be 'Christian Soldiers' and equip the armor of God so that we may stand our ground against sin.
-verse 18: be alert of the saints (i.e)pride, lust, greed...
-we must deal with spiritual conflicts spiritually, and not wordly
-God likes diversity (in prayer)
-Always look for what needs prayer, anywhere, anytime.
-the spiritual conflicts build 'character' in which you can become more Christ-like

BE REAL.
SERVANTS HEART
-Make it second nature.
-If someone is in pain, dont hesitate to help, for you are made in His image, so why not?
-Barriers will become nothing.
-Talking to a new person, or just making someone feel welcome can change their lives.
-Even the simple actions
-God will give you opportunities throughout your life.

-God also made us weak to show us His power.

-Christ is coming anytime, are you ready?
-we hurry, then worry, then marry, then hurry, then worry, we pass it to kids, then we are burried. This is a curse.
-Death takes the meaning to our lives or what is explained above.
**We are caterpillars, but if we accept Christ we transform into butterflies.
-Caterpillar = human/physical bond.
-Butterflies must struggle ti get out of the cocoon, otherwise it wont have strength.
-When Christ comes we are transformed.

interesting day.
Woke up to my alarm clock and remembered about Linda's movie party. Didn't want to go because it was too early :[. Soo, i woke up later and decided to go xD. Karaoke and DDR. fun.
Woo~ then badminton at UBC with only Alan :/. interesting. didnt have much to talk about though...
atleast i learned 2 new techniques >:D
Ray's surprise. He wasnt surprised. He was emo today :[. hmm it was pretty interesting. Harlequinn disease D: ~shudder~.
Empowerment night!~ it wasnt as emo as before. Hmm good topic today.

it was a fun day :O played the animal game. so much laughing.
Rebekah has a funny carlton. lol.
